Located just four hours north of Los Angeles and three hours south of Big Sur, our village is the perfect stop as you cruise California’s scenic Pacific Coast Highway. While our population is just over 6,000, the downtown area is incredibly vibrant and eventful. Divided into two distinct regions—the East and West Villages—the Main Street thoroughfare is loaded with antique stores, restaurants, a farmers’ market, and beautiful nature preserve access points.
Cambria’s Historic East Village
Located further inland, the East Village is filled with deep ties to the town’s historic past. Because free parking is abundant in downtown Cambria, we highly recommend ditching the car and seeing these sights on foot.
Historic Architecture: You will find establishments like the Bluebird Inn, the Tea Cozy, and The Red House dating back to the 1860s and early 1900s.
Mozzi’s Saloon: Stop in for a drink at this iconic cowboy bar built in 1866, and get transported back in time to the days of gamblers and pool sharks.
Nature Access: The East Village affords easy access to the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve. The Bluff Trail is a short, 0.9-mile walk featuring paved and gravel pathways, benches, and incredible ocean views that are perfect for sunset photo ops.

When you are ready for a break, stop by the Cutruzzola Winery tasting room for some of the best wine on the Central Coast. Located just four miles south of Hearst Castle, walk-ins are welcome (reservations are required for parties of seven or more).
They are open Wednesday through Monday from 11 AM to 5 PM.
